2010 Outbound Education Verification Calls (OEV)

Update:  Please note that a signifigant change from 2009 has occured.  OEV calls will be made on 100% of 2010 Enrollment Request Forms within 15 days of the enrollment request submission.

Consumer Experience:

Within fifteen days (regardless of whether or not the consumer elects to enroll) of your receipt of the enrollment request, the consumer will receive a telephone call from DSS, our chosen vendor, on behalf of the UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company.

Consumers will be asked some of the following questions:

  • Do you have Medicaid (if PFFS or DUAL plans)?
  • Did the agent leave his/her contact information?
  • Did the agent tell you about this telephone call?
  • Did the agent fully explain benefits, co-pays, deeming?
  • Do you know what network you are in? Do you know what product(s) you have chosen? Do you understand what this means?

If members wish to cancel or withdraw their enrollment request, they will be asked to call Member Retention and will be provided with the telephone number. If members have other plan questions, they will be asked to call Customer Service and will be provided with the number.
